I'm looking for anchors for a 12' X 10' modular greenhouse. Soil is heavy. I have to fill up holes with water and let it seep downwards to dig a ii-5 inches at a time. Will these hold information technology in place in possible 40mph winds? What size would I need? Can a woman install?

When it comes to soil weather condition, wind speed, etc., there are many variables and frankly we're non qualified to make those calculations for you.� We can tell y'all that these anchors are very popular and take been installed past women, but much of that depends on the soil and how business firm or difficult it is to penetrate.

Aye, the ends are flat.� If pointed i could exist concerned well-nigh damaging or driving through the anchor itself by accident.� The rods are otherwise round, yes.

To drive a Duckbill Anchor to the full depth of its cablevision, would you non need a drive rod at least a picayune fleck longer than the cable?� Which is to say, how for an 88-DB1 Anchor, which is shown as having a 3.5' cablevision, can one properly drive it with a DS-68 Rod, which is listed at 36" long (and is described equally being used with the 88 Ballast)?� Thank you.

This has non come upward as an issue for u.s.a., no.� Remember you need at least some of the cable protruding from the soil in order to make connection with it.

Yeah, this Duckbill anchor comes with a cable pre-installed. The cable is one/4"D 10 42"50 and there is a loop/eye to use equally an attachment point.

This is a difficult question to answer. The manufacturer did say that solid shale might not work altogether, while cleaved shale can even so exist difficult, but doable. They are unable to guarantee success or failure on a case past case basis.
